Here’s my Naval Negroni, but my tribute to those sailors from the age of sail!
I was wondering how many traditional cocktails could have an ingredient swapped out for really good quality rum. After creating my delicious Naval Old Fashioned, I thought it was time for A Naval Negroni.
Our very own superb Fat Adam’s Sipping Rum Of The Gods, gives this Negroni a different, smoother and sweeter profile, whilst at the same time packing a punch as strong as a double shotted cannon at close quarters! We add this to Campari and Cinzano 1757 with the addition of some orange bitters to give the cocktail a delicious nose once aged.
A slightly sweeter, warmer and smoother variation of the Negroni, really lovely.
Prepare to board this unusual take on a classic cocktail.
